Rumor has it that Samsung is preparing to announce a metal smartphone referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and thanks to a set of photos obtained by SamMobile, we now have an idea of what this mystery device might look like. Perhaps not a premium version of the Galaxy S5, the Alpha is rumored to be made out of metal and will launch with a smaller 4.7-inch display, 32GB of storage (Designer iPhone 6 Cases) and a fingerprint scanner.

Contrary to previous reports calling the device all-metal, the Galaxy Alpha will instead feature a textured faux leather back panel, similar to the one on the GS5. While the Alpha doesn’t exactly sound like the rumored high-end Galaxy S5 Prime that we’ve been hearing about, we still need more details about the rest of the phone’s hardware before making a final judgement.
